Torque Meter Cassette DMC-100.
With the DMC-100, torque meter measurement of recorders can be checked accurately. The special feature is a 5-sided display. By this method it is possible to read odd either side of the cassette without having to take out the tape mechanism. This is particularly useful with car tape recorders where only one long side of the cassette can be seen. It is a very important factor to be able to measure the torque of the tape to accurately locate faults in the tape transport mechanism. The DMC-100 measures the torque at normal, fast forward and rewind speeds. Calibration is in g/cm from 1-00, which is approximately 0.01Ncm or 1pcm. Extensive practical use has shown the cassette to be simple to use and universally acceptable.
