IR Extender Kit

This is an ideal retrofit unit for controlling equipment in another room (say the SKY decoder from the bedroom). Using cat5 cable, you can extend the operation of the remote control by up to 300 metres using a simple pick and choose system to suit your environment. Buy the components separately: IRSEND50 + either IRSEND68, IRSEND69 or IRSEND64 + IRSEND75 and power supply, or as a KIT ready to go IRSENDKIT3.
Why use a hard wired IR extender? Simple, Wireless versions are becoming more and more difficult to use due to the frequencies of transmission being used by other products and the poor range that wireless transmission brings.
By using a hard wired version you can achieve distances of over 100 metres, (300 metres max) and also have control for up to 4 rooms.
