Insurance of goods in Transit
TradeTech New Zealand shall not be responsible for insurance of goods in transit. All goods are subject to limited carriers risk pursuant to Carriage of Goods Act 1979. Claims for loss or damage should be made direct to carrier. Goods sent overseas shall be insured at the customers expense.
All goods offered are from reliable and well known manufacturers and carry the manufacturer's guarantee.
Warranty on Video Heads is 12 months or 1000 hrs. No claim will be recognised for broken/dislodged Ferrite tips or damaged head, as installation of these components is beyond our control.
All products, except IC's/Semi-conductors are guaranteed against defects in manufacturing and are subject to full replacement.
A limited warranty also applies to some items, as incorrectly diagnosed faults can damage these parts.
The liability of TradeTech New Zealand for any loss or damage or injury arising directly or indirectly from any defect of the goods supplied, is limited to replacement or repair of such defective goods or damages, not exceeding the invoice value of such defective goods at the option of TradeTech New Zealand. TradeTech New Zealand shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury caused by improper or incorrect operation or use of the goods supplied.
TradeTech New Zealand shall not be liable to 'the Customer' for any consequential or indirect damage or loss of any kind whatsoever. Any claim by 'the Customer' under this clause must be made in writing and received by Trade-Tech New Zealand within fourteen days after delivery of the goods.
You, 'the Customer'. expressly acknowledges that all goods and services acquired by 'the Customer' from TradeTech New Zealand for use in 'the Customers' business and that known or implied guarantees binding to TradeTech New Zealand (if any) under the Consumers Guarantees Act shall apply as between 'the Customer' and TradeTech New Zealand.
Any on-sell by 'the Customer' of goods or services supplied by TradeTech New Zealand for use in the business of 'the Customers' customer will be recorded in writing, signed on behalf of 'the Customer' ... expressly excluding any implied guarantee on the part of TradeTech New Zealand under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

If they do not, you are entitled to a refund of your purchase price, or a replacement of the item in question. Please note the definition, as it does not allow the customer to demand a refund or replacement because they have changed their mind or do not like the item. However, when goods are acquired for business purposes these acts shall not apply.
