Awards & Industry Associations

The TradeTech Customer Service Team has grown with the company and now numbers eight with three staff in the dispatch department.  We are extremely proud of the service that the team provides to our trade and retail customers.  Whether orders are being received electronically, by fax, telephone or direct in the showroom we endeavour to find the right part or solution and have it dispatched same day to anywhere around New Zealand.

Achievements


TradeTech’s considerable achievements are recognition of excellence in customer service and overall company performance.
  • In recognition of TradeTech’s service to customers it was awarded the inaugural APEX Award for Excellence in Dealer Support 2000 (Components Supplier). This is a prestigious industry award from the Appliance and Electronic Industry Association. Nationwide AEIA members, many of whom are TradeTech customers, vote for their choice of organisation providing the best customer service and support.
  • In June 2001 TradeTech was again awarded ‘the APEX’ for Excellence in Component Supply (Consumer Electronics).
  • In July 2002, TradeTech won the award for the third year in a row (this award was discontinued at this point).

  • In both 2003 and 2004, TradeTech was selected as a finalist in the equally prestigious Westpac North Shore Enterprise Awards for Excellence in Service Delivery.
  • In 2005, TradeTech was the winner of this award.

In 2007 TradeTech was runner up for the Supplier of the Year at the ElectroTechnical Association (previously AEIA) conference in Rotorua. This award is decided by votes from the service repair industry and is in recognition of the excellent service we provide to technicians all over New Zealand.

Industry Associations

ElectroTechnical Association - TradeTech's Managing Director Roger Fulton is a member of the ETA board and enthusiastically supports the activities of the organisation.  "Belonging to an industry group gives members an edge.  ETA lobbies very effectively on industry issues, interprets legislation and disseminates information to members,  provides  training opportunities and ongoing education for members.  On top of that are the outstanding benefits including group phone, vehicle, fuel, financing and HR schemes".

Enterprise North Shore - TradeTech and ENS have worked together on several projects and share the philosophy that strengthening links between local business is a key growth strategy.

Parts Division We carry over 50,000 product lines including a large range of service and electronic spare parts for Televisions, Videos, Microwaves, Audio, DVD, & Computer Products. We also carry Aerials, Resistors, Capacitors, Transistors, Semi Conductors, Fuses, Power Packs, Switch Mode Power Supplies, Power Invertors, Fans, Leads, Plugs, Sockets & Interconnect Leads.

A/V Division
The Audio Video Division has grown along with incredible advances in A/V technology. TradeTech now supplies leads, cables, connectors, distribution  systems, speakers and brackets to installers both large and small, wholesalers and the general public throughout New Zealand.

Manufacturing Division - Integrated electronic and wire technology
TradeTech is part of Fero Ltd and our Manufacturing Division prides itself on being an essential element in the vibrant New Zealand electronic manufacturing sector.  We supply an extensive range of electronic components, production solutions and a full wire manufacturing facility to customers from a diverse range of sectors.  Everything from infrasrtucture to agriculture.
